Peninsula Nephrology Associates PA is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our busy nephrology practice serving Salisbury and surrounding areas. The role involves ESRD patient care on hemodialysis, outpatient CKD follow-ups, anemia management, and coordination with inpatient rounding.

Qualifikationen

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
• Valid Maryland License.
• Eligible to apply for staff privileges at area hospitals and dialysis units.
• BLS certified.

Aufgaben

• Round and provide nephrology care to ESRD patients on hemodialysis in the local dialysis units.
• Outpatient clinic responsibilities include follow up of patients with CKD stages 1-5, dialysis education and preparation, management of anemia and other CKD complications, reviewing laboratory and other diagnostic test results, handling prescription refills and managing patients through our remote patient monitoring program.
• In the inpatient setting, the NP/PA will assist the physician with rounding as needed.
