Pantheon Health System, LLC is seeking a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our team. You will examine patients, collect medical histories, and make tentative diagnoses. You will read diagnostic tests, explain results, and prescribe therapies with physician approval.

The ideal candidate has strong bedside manners, charting experience, and excellent communication skills. Patients are seen in nursing homes, assisted living, and home settings, with some driving involved.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensing is required.

Responsibilities

As a PA/NP, you will be examining patients, collecting patient medical history, and making tentative diagnoses on minor and major issues. You will also be reading diagnostic tests and reports, interpreting data, taking the time with each patient to explain their test results and medical diagnoses, and prescribing therapy or medication with a physician's approval. The ideal candidate has an excellent bedside manner, experience charting in a medical environment, and has strong communication and interpersonal skills. Patients are seen in the nursing home, assisted living and home settings, some driving is involved.

Responsibilities

• Examine each patient, take a detailed medical history, and chart everything medically important in their records
• Read test results, interpret data appropriately, and make diagnostic suggestions based on those results
• Explain to the patient test results and expected health outcomes
• Prescribe medication or therapy with a physician overseeing as part of a larger health plan
• Work closely with nurses, other Physician Assistants, and Physicians to formulate a full, comprehensive treatment plan
