Responsibilities

• Assesses patients' physical and mental condition.
• Orders, collects, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Prescribes, recommends and/or employs medical therapies per approved protocols.
• Formulates and implements outcomes-based treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
• Counsels patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and health promotion.
