Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Texas RN license or compact privilege required.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Board-certified or eligible APRN with requires credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients through physical examinations and histories.
• Orders and interprets tests to assess health needs.
• Prescribes therapies and develops treatment plans with supervising physicians.
• Maintains patient records detailing plans and outcomes.
• Counsels patients on medical processes, medications, nutrition and health promotion.
