Job summary

University Health seeks a board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its Nephrology team in a hybrid inpatient/outpatient role. The successful candidate will provide patient-centered nephrology care and contribute to ongoing quality initiatives in collaboration with nephrologists and multidisciplinary staff.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in nephrology and holds Texas RN/APRN licensure with national certification, prescriptive authority, BLS, and a DEA number expected

Qualifications

• Nephrology experience preferred, 2+ years.
• Board-certified NP or PA with Texas licensure.
• Licensed to practice as RN/APRN in Texas with national certification and prescriptive authority.

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient and outpatient nephrology care.
• Manage patients with acute and chronic kidney disease.
• Collaborate with nephrologists and multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans.
