Experience in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, ER, MedSurg or ICU is valued; candidate should be ready to learn and hit the ground running in a high-demand group. No weekend or call coverage is expected, and collaboration with physicians is central to patient care.

Qualifications

• Advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis and planning of care.
• Pharmacotherapeutics knowledge to manage patient treatment plans.
• Confidential medical records documentation and compliant practice.
• Ability to provide nursing expertise in diagnosis and treatment to improve outcomes.
• Experience in locating and evaluating patient histories and wellness status.

Responsibilities

• Capture dialysis unit patients (billed under the physician).
• May have own panel of clinic patients, but largely collaborates with physicians.
• Hospital-rounding with attending Nephrologist.
• No weekends or on-call coverage required.
