West Coast Kidney Institute is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its nephrology-focused team. The role emphasizes collaborating with physicians, managing dialysis patients, and supporting clinic care alongside attending nephrologists.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA with competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
• Nephrology experience is preferred but Cardiology, Internal Medicine, ER, Med-Surg or ICU background acceptable.
• Ability to collaborate with physicians and learn quickly in a high-demand group.
• Confidential documentation of medical records is required.

Responsabilités

• Capture dialysis unit patients (billed under the physician).
• Potentially manage own clinic panel but primary care through collaboration with physicians.
• Collaborate with nephrologists during hospital rounds.
