Formación
- Licensed NP or PA with current state certification.
- Competencies in advanced health assessment, physical examination, diagnosis, planning, and managing care including pharmacotherapeutics.
- Provide nursing expertise in diagnosis, treatment, and health promotion to improve outcomes.
- Knowledge of patient assessment techniques, taking histories, performing physicals, and evaluating wellness.
- Knowledge of documenting medical records in a confidential manner.
Responsabilidades
- Capture dialysis unit patients (billed under physician).
- Collaborate with physicians to alternate care; may have a clinic panel.
- No weekend shifts or on-call responsibilities.
- Hospital rounding with attending nephrologist.
