Job summary

Avera Medical Group Nephrology-Sioux Falls is seeking a physician to provide and manage medical evaluation, diagnosis, procedures, and care for patients within nephrology. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and education to patients and families.

The role requires board-eligible or board-certified physicians with medical licensure in the state, and a commitment to the care team and patient safety as part of Avera’s mission.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work the hours specified and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
• Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients per approved protocols and standards.
• Provide medical services and health education to patients and families.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and interpret diagnostic information.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure referrals as needed.
• Ensure safety, confidentiality, and compliance with laws and standards.
