Job summary

Avera McKennan seeks a licensed physician to provide direct medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment within a structured care area. You will educate patients and families and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to move health forward.

Responsibilities include interpreting diagnostics, developing care plans, maintaining records, and ensuring patient safety. Board eligibility or certification and a DEA license are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with valid medical license and board eligibility or certification.
• DEA license required (federal/state).
• Ability to work within approved protocols and collaborate with care teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients per approved medical protocols.
• Provide medical services and health education to patients and families.
• Maintain patient records and ensure safety and aseptic practices.
• Refer to specialists when needed and coordinate with the care team.
