Job summary

McCormick Taylor, Inc. is seeking an Environmental Planner II for the NEPA Services Group in Harrisburg, PA or Pittsburgh, PA.

This role requires understanding NEPA regulations and transportation project delivery, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a hybrid environment. You will collaborate with senior NEPA specialists, prepare environmental studies and documentation, support public involvement, and contribute to field work as needed.

Qualifications

• 4-7 years of NEPA documentation experience for transportation projects.
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental studies, planning, policy, or related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with senior NEPA specialists to complete environmental studies for transportation projects.
• Assist with environmental studies and NEPA documentation.
• Support public involvement activities.
• Conduct background environmental research for scoping documents and proposals.
• Assist with environmental field work, as needed.
