Position Details

Regional position: The physician will start in Grand Rapids and will rotate to Muskegon after the orientation period. Must be willing to work at both locations.

Grand Rapids is a 15-bed Level III NICU, and Muskegon is an 8-bed Level II Special Care Nursery.

The current team includes 3 neonatology physicians and 18 APPs across both locations.

This role offers the opportunity to teach residents, medical students, and fellows.

The physician will work 7 days on/7 days off in Grand Rapids, followed by 7 days on/7 days off in Muskegon. Call responsibilities occur only during the 7-day on period.

Opportunity to collaborate with an experienced interdisciplinary team.

Candidate Requirements

• Open to experienced, Board-Certified providers or truly Board-Eligible new graduates.
• If truly Board-eligible, must achieve Board Certification within 2 years of eligibility.
• Not accepting candidates with lapsed Board Certification seeking reinstatement.
• Not open to commuters or those seeking secondary employment.
• Not accepting Locum Tenens candidates.
• Not accepting visa candidates.
