Job summary

The University of Washington Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology invites applications for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor without tenure by reason of funding (WOT), on the Faculty-Scientist track, with an anticipated start date of Summer 2027.

The successful candidate will join our faculty on a full-time basis for a twelve-month appointment with potential renewal.

Qualifications

• Must have MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent).
• Must be Board certified or eligible (or foreign equivalent) in Neonatology or Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine, and must be eligible for medical licensure in state of Washington.
• In order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa, graduates of foreign medical schools must show successful completion of all 3 steps of USMLE or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Spend most time conducting research at Seattle Children’s Research Institute with some time devoted to clinical care and education.
• Join the faculty on a 12-month appointment with potential for renewal and expand research, teaching, and service in a diverse academic community.
