The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Cardiology at the University of Washington invites applications for two faculty positions at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Full Professor without tenure due to funding, with an anticipated start date of July, 2027. The successful candidate will join our faculty on a full-time basis for a twelve-month appointment

Qualifications

• Must have MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent).
• Board certified or eligible (or foreign equivalent) in Pediatric Cardiology.
• Must be currently licensed as a physician or eligible for licensure as a physician in Washington state.

Responsibilities

• Provide care of patients with congenital heart defects from neonates to young adults, and acquired conditions.
• Manage acute cardiac patients in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), Neonatal ICU, and cardiac wards.
• Conduct comprehensive outpatient longitudinal evaluations and cardiology counseling.
• Identify indications and provide basic interpretation of diagnostic cardiac catheterizations, basic EP studies, advanced cardiac imaging (Cardiac MRI and CT), and non-invasive imaging.
