Physician Affiliate Group of New York, P.C. (PAGNY) is seeking a Neonatologist to join the team at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. This role involves supervising and teaching medical students and residents in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) as well as participating in daily rounds and inpatient consultations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for all patient care activities in the NICU and the management of newborns during delivery. This position offers an opportunity to work in a Level I Trauma Center serving a diverse population in Brooklyn.

Qualifications

• Board certification in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in teaching and supervision.

Opportunity Details

• Supervise and teach students, residents and sub-specialty residents in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and in the Delivery room.
• Make rounds with the staff on the wards and participate in inpatient neonatal consults.
• Supervise and participate in all patient care responsibilities.
• Supervise all patient care activities in the NICU, as well as the care of all sick newborns in labor and delivery.
