Job summary

Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide clinical respiratory care in the NICU, delivery room, and transport settings. You will perform ongoing respiratory assessments and develop care plans while contributing to department projects and continuing education.

Responsibilities include leadership within the department, collaboration with the care team, and maintaining required licensure and certifications. Experience in hospital pulmonary/respiratory medicine is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum Graduate of an approved respiratory therapy program.
• Pennsylvania state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or Temporary Practice Permit (TPP).
• Preferred Registered with the National Board of Respiratory Care (RRT).
• Two years’ experience in pulmonary/respiratory medicine in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical respiratory care in NICU, Delivery Room and transport setting.
• Performs ongoing respiratory assessments and reassessments and plan of care development.
• Demonstrates effective leadership skills.
• Participate in department projects, teamwork and continuing education.
