Job summary

SSM Health Saint Louis University Hospital is seeking a Regular staff Surgical Technician to provide technical scrub skills in the operating room and assist the surgical team as needed. The role requires energy, motivation, and adherence to established procedures to support patient care in the OR.

Minimum education includes a high school diploma or equivalent, with preferred completion of an approved surgical technician program. Certification as CST or equivalent is required or as specified.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Experience as a surgical technician or graduation from an approved program preferred.
• Must hold CST or equivalent certification/licensing as listed.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical scrub skills in the operating room during surgical procedures.
• Assists surgical team as needed in other capacities.
