Northwestern Medicine is seeking a Staff Nurse Inpatient-Kishwaukee to provide high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced hospital setting. You will perform assessments, develop care plans, and coordinate with physicians and the care team.

The role requires a BSN, ILRN license, and BLS; ADN with plan to obtain BSN within three years is acceptable. The position emphasizes patient education, safety, and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• BSN required or higher; ADN acceptable with commitment to obtain BSN within three years of employment.
• Current Illinois RN license.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association.

Responsabilités

• Completes assessments for assigned patients reflecting age-specific variables.
• Develops and updates nursing plan of care with input from interdisciplinary team and patient/family.
• Initiates and coordinates communication with physicians and other healthcare providers.
• Administers prescribed medications and provides pain management.
• Participates in discharge planning from admission.
• Documents treatments and patient responses accurately.
