Job summary

Texas Health Fort Worth is hiring a Neonatal RRT/Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide specialized respiratory care for neonatal patients on the night shift. You will verify orders, review records and plan individualized therapy with the care team.

Required licensure includes RCP and RRT with BCLS, and preferred ACLS/NRP credentials. The role emphasizes safety, patient/family education, and compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• AMA approved Respiratory Care Program completion is required.
• CLIA/foreign education equivalency compliance applies.

Responsibilities

• Obtains physician orders for therapy and validates appropriateness.
• Reviews medical records and gathers patient history from patient/family.
• Assesses patients using age/diagnosis appropriate tests and measurements.
• Applies care according to protocol and prioritizes needs.
• Demonstrates age-appropriate assessment and individualized care.
