Job summary

Advocate Health's Neonatal Level III unit is seeking a part-time registered nurse to join our care team in a PRN role. The position offers a pay range of $38.20 to $57.30 per hour with opportunities to contribute to high-quality neonatal care.

The RN will use the nursing process to assess and plan care, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and positive outcomes. Documentation in the EHR and potential unit float are included responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where providing client nursing services.
• BLS certification is required; telehealth licensure rules apply where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care, engaging patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains accurate EHR documentation.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols.

Education

Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN)
