Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital is seeking an Occupational Therapist for a per diem role in Neonatal/Pediatrics at the Cornell Campus. You will work with newborns in the Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns as part of a multidisciplinary team focused on development and family-centered care.

Responsibilities include NICU evaluations, development of treatment plans, and interventions to maximize outcomes.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Occupational Therapy (required).
• NBCOT Certification (required).
• BCLS certification (required).

Responsibilities

• Evaluation and treatment of infants in the NICU with a variety of diagnoses affecting neurodevelopment, neuromotor, neuromuscular, and related systems.
• Complete developmental assessments and treatment plans on infants <1500g (<32 weeks GA) at birth and provide individualized therapeutic intervention.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions to optimize development and support infant family interaction and mental health.
