NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in New York, NY is seeking an Occupational Therapist for the Neonatal/Pediatrics NICU in a per diems role at the Alexandra Cohen Hospital for Women and Newborns. This position supports fragile infants and families with a patient-centered, multidisciplinary team approach.

The role emphasizes NICU specialization, NBCOT certification, and a flexible schedule with on-site care. On-site work is required with compensation reflecting market rates for NICU OT roles.

Qualifications

• 2 years NICU experience.
• Certified Neonatal Therapist.
• Pediatric ICU and early mobilization experience.
• NBCOT certification required.
• BS degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and treat NICU infants with diverse neurodevelopmental diagnoses.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for infants <1500g at birth.
• Provide individualized therapeutic interventions to optimize development and prevent sequelae.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team; per-diem schedule with weekday focus and occasional weekends/holidays.
