Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking Per Diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to join the Multicare Yakima Memorial Hospital NICU team for ongoing night coverage on 13‑hour shifts in a Level III NICU.
Qualified candidates hold a Master’s degree, an active WA license, and the APRN national specialty certification; NICU Level III experience is preferred. This is a W-2 per diem role with travel reimbursement for those outside a commutable distance.
Pediatrix does cover per diem staff travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice. This position is W-2.
$65 - $87/hr based on years of experience.
Pediatrix does not offer health insurance for team members in a Per Diem role.
Per-diem is defined as team members who are scheduled as needed and not on a consistent basis.

Pediatrix provides paid sick leave to team members in Washinton under Initiative 1433. Team members who do not accrue PTO are eligible to receive Washington Paid Sick and Safe Leave “PSSL” time in a lump sum.
Per Diem team members will accrue one hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked. Team members begin to accrue sick leave upon hire. However, they cannot use accrued sick leave until their 90th day of employment. There is no annual cap on accrual; however, team members will be able to carry over up to 108 hours of unused paid sick leave the following year.
The Company will not pay team members for unused sick leave upon termination of employment.
