Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking Neonatologists for per diem coverage at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital in Yakima, WA. Day shifts 8am–7pm with NNP support; night shifts 7pm–8am with an Neonatologist on-call from home. 24-hour coverage possible without NNP support in some cases.
Active WA license or IMLC eligibility is required; blocks of 5–7 days preferred with ongoing availability. Level III NICU census typically 5–8 patients. Per diem arrangements include W-2 status and malpractice coverage.
Pay Range (Hourly Pay): $175/hr
W-2 per diem position. Pediatrix covers your malpractice insurance, round trip travel expenses should your commute not be a local one and licensing should you need to apply for a WA license.
Health Insurance: Pediatrix does not offer health insurance for team members in a Per Diem role.

Paid Time Off: Pediatrix does not off paid time off for team members in a Per Diem role.
Paid Sick Leave: Pediatrix provides paid sick leave to team members in Washinton under Initiative 1433. Team members who do not accrue PTO are eligible to receive Washington Paid Sick and Safe Leave “PSSL” time in a lump sum. Per Diem team members will accrue one hour of sick time for every 30 hours worked. Team members begin to accrue sick leave upon hire. However, they cannot use accrued sick leave until their 90th day of employment. There is no annual cap on accrual; however, team members will be able to carry over up to 108 hours of unused paid sick leave the following year.
NOTE: The Company will not pay team members for unused sick leave upon termination of employment.
