Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioners for Pueblo, CO to provide NICU and Well Baby Nursery coverage on a per diem basis. The role involves 24-hour in-house shifts with on-call responsibilities, including emergencies and high-risk deliveries.

Candidates should have a Master’s in Nursing, APRN certification, CO licensure (or ability to obtain), and at least 1 year of NNP NICU experience. Travel expenses are covered when applicable; this is a W-2 position.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing is required.
• Active APRN national specialty certification.
• CO license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Minimum 1 year NICU NNP experience.
• Per diem staff employment on a W-2 basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide NICU and Well Baby Nursery coverage.
• In-house 24-hour shift with on-call for emergencies or high-risk deliveries.
• Respond to emergencies or high-risk deliveries as needed.
• Rotate through Level II NICU and Well Baby Nursery per schedule.

Job description

PER DIEM Seeking NNP- Neonatal Nurse Practitioners for Pueblo, CO

• Level II NICU- ADC of 4
• Well Baby Nursery - ADC of 11
• 24 Hour Shift: Inhouse/On Call. NICU and Well Baby Nursery Coverage. Call back to hospital if needed for emergencies or high risk deliveries.
• On average 9-10 hours in house, remaining part of 24 hour shift is on call.
• Circ experience or willingness to learn required.
• Current APRN national specialty certification
• Minimum of a master's degree
• Active CO License or Ability to Obtain
• Minimum of 1 Year's NNP NICU Experience

Pediatrix does cover per diem staff travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice. This position is W-2.

Compensation: The pay for this position starts at $ 75.00 /hour
