Job summary

Pediatrix is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for a Per Diem position in St. Louis, MO. The role requires 24-hour in-house NICU coverage and involves travel coverage for those outside a commutable distance. This is a W-2 Per Diem staff role with no PTO/holidays eligibility.

Qualified applicants will have APRN national specialty certification, a master’s degree, and at least 1 year of experience, plus MO license or ability to obtain one. Travel expenses will be covered by Pediatrix.

Qualifications

• APRN national specialty certification is required.
• Minimum of a master’s degree is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in neonatal NP.
• Active MO license or ability to obtain license.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24?hour in-house coverage in a Level-IV NICU.
• Per Diem coverage at the facility requires a highly qualified neonatal nurse practitioner.

Average daily census of 90, with 1,500 admissions and more than 10,000 deliveries annually

Per Diem coverage at the facility requires a highly qualified neonatal nurse practitioner.

Pediatrix does cover per diem staff travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice. This position is W-2.
