Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a Per Diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for Oklahoma City, OK. The role involves coverage at two Level III NICUs, Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City and Norman Regional, with 12-hour in-house shifts.

You will assess critically ill neonates, attend high-risk deliveries, and see well newborns in collaboration with a Neonatologist. This position is in a per diem arrangement with travel expenses covered.

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification.
• Minimum of a master’s degree.
• OK Active License or ability to obtain license.
• Minimum of 1 year’s NNP experience.

Overview

** Per Diem ** Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - NNP Opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK

Responsibilities

• Opportunity to Provide Coverage at 2 Level III NICUs: Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City, a 43-bed NICU with an ADC of 29 and Norman Regional Hospital, a 26-bed NICU with an ADC of 14.
• 12 Hour Inhouse Shifts
• Assessing critically ill neonates, attending high risk deliveries and seeing well newborns in collaboration with Neonatologist

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification
• Minimum of a master’s degree
• OK Active License or Ability to Obtain License
• Minimum of 1 Year's NNP Experience.

Benefits and Compensation

Pediatrix does cover per diem staff travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice. This position is W-2.
