Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group, Inc. is seeking a Per Diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to cover two Level III NICUs in Oklahoma City, OK.

The role involves 12-hour in-house shifts, assessing critically ill neonates, and assisting with high-risk deliveries in collaboration with a Neonatologist. Applicants must hold current APRN certification, have a master’s degree, an OK license or ability to obtain one, and at least 1 year of NNP experience.

Qualifications

• Current APRN national specialty certification.
• Minimum of a master’s degree.
• OK Active License or Ability to Obtain License.
• Minimum of 1 year’s NNP experience.

Responsibilities

• Assess critically ill neonates and attend high-risk deliveries in collaboration with Neonatologist.
• Care for well newborns as part of NICU team.

** Per Diem ** Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - NNP Opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK

• Opportunity to Provide Coverage at 2 Level III NICUs:
  Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City, a 43-bed NICU with an ADC of 29 and Norman Regional Hospital, a 26-bed NICU with an ADC of 14.
• 12 Hour Inhouse Shifts
• Assessing critically ill neonates, attending high risk deliveries and seeing well newborns in collaboration with Neonatologist

• Current APRN national specialty certification
• Minimum of a master’s degree
• OK Active License or Ability to Obtain License
• Minimum of 1 Year's NNP Experience.

Pediatrix does cover per diem staff travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice. This position is W-2.
