Job summary

Pediatrix Medical Group in Oklahoma City is seeking a Per Diem Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to cover two Level III NICUs, Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City and Norman Regional Hospital. This 12-hour in-house shift opportunity involves assessing critically ill neonates, attending high-risk deliveries, and caring for well newborns in collaboration with Neonatologists.

Candidates must have current APRN national specialty certification, a master’s degree, an Oklahoma license or the ability to obtain

• Minimum of 1 Year's NNP Experience.

• Per Diem ** Neonatal Nurse Practitioner - NNP Opportunity in Oklahoma City, OK


• Opportunity to Provide Coverage at 2 Level III NICUs: Mercy Hospital Oklahoma City, a 43-bed NICU with an ADC of 29 and Norman Regional Hospital, a 26-bed NICU with an ADC of 14.


• 12 Hour Inhouse Shifts


• Assessing critically ill neonates, attending high risk deliveries and seeing well newborns in collaboration with Neonatologist


• Current APRN national specialty certification


• Minimum of a master’s degree


• OK Active License or Ability to Obtain License


• Minimum of 1 Year's NNP Experience.

Pediatrix does cover per diem staff travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice. This position is W-2.
