Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner for our NICU teams to deliver direct patient care to newborns, from assessment through discharge. You will collaborate with physicians, provide advanced neonatal procedures, and help develop care standards in a high-acuity setting.

Responsibilities include overseeing post-delivery care, managing ventilation and line access, and contributing to quality improvement efforts.

Qualificações

• Minimum two years of Level III NICU experience within the last four years.
• Graduate of an ANA approved NP or CHA training program to meet state licensure.
• Credentials from multiple states required at hire; post hire for secondary states.
• Neonatal NP certification and state license prerequisites including NRP/BSL.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct care for neonates including assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
• Perform resuscitations and manage ventilated infants in NICU and delivery rooms.
• Coordinate pre- and post-operative care for normal to high-risk infants.
• Develop and implement neonatal care standards and guidelines.
• Collaborate with attending MDs on treatment plans and orders.
• Document admissions, progress, and discharge summaries; ensure compliance.
• Deliver staff education and participate in Perinatal Quality Management.
