Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires graduate of an ANA approved NP or Child Health Associate program with licensure to practice as an NP.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to newborns including assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
• Perform resuscitations and procedures in delivery room and NICU.
• Coordinate pre- and post-operative care for normal to high-risk infants.
• Collaborate with attending MDs on treatment plans and orders.
• Develop and revise standards and protocols for neonatal care.
• Educate staff and participate in Perinatal Quality Management Program.
