Job summary

Driscoll Children’s Hospital in South Texas is actively recruiting Neonatal Nurse Practitioners to provide specialized newborn care across Corpus Christi, Edinburg and Laredo. NNPs will be based at one location and may credential to cover shifts at other sites; travel to assigned towns for shifts is expected but not required to relocate.

The role offers a generous sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, mileage and lodging reimbursement, and CME benefits.

Qualifications

• Masters degree preferred for advanced practice
• Current Texas RN/APRN licensure and NNP certification required
• NRP certification and BLS/CPR certification are required

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate care for neonatal patients
• Obtain maternal and infant health histories and perform physical assessments
• Prescribe and manage medications, fluids, respiratory support, and other therapies
• Collaborate with neonatologists, nurses, and families to ensure continuity of care
