Job summary

Atrium Health's Brenner Children's Hospital NICU is seeking an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to join our inpatient team in Winston-Salem, NC. You will deliver high-level neonatal care within our Level II–IV NICUs, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and families to support vulnerable infants.

The role requires NC RN and NP licensure, board certification as an NNP, and neonatal-focused clinical excellence, with a commitment to ongoing education and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program.
• Current North Carolina RN license and Nurse Practitioner license.
• Board certified as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP).
• Welcoming to new and experienced NNP providers.
• BCLS, PALS and NRP required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing and selected medical procedures for neonates and infants.
• Collaborate with health care team and families to ensure high-quality care.
• Work to improve the quality of care provided to neonates.
• Participate in and apply research to advance neonatal care.
• Maintain current licensure and knowledge per regulatory standards.
• Ensure age-appropriate care aligned with guidelines.
