Job summary

Advocate Health’s Brenner Children’s Hospital NICU seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide expert care for neonates and infants in a high-volume unit. The NNP will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and families to deliver evidence-based care and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualified candidates hold an accredited NNP master’s degree, NC RN/NP licensure, and NNP certification, with BCLS, PALS, and NRP.

Qualifications

• Must be a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner with current NC RN and NP licenses.
• Board certified as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP).
• BCLS, PALS and NRP required.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing and selected medical procedures for neonates in the NICU.
• Collaborate with health-care team and families to plan and deliver care.
• Improve quality of neonatal care and participate in research dissemination.
