Formación

• Graduate degree in nursing or physician assistant program.
• Current Neonatal Nurse Practitioner licensure in Connecticut.
• NRP certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Physician Assistant licensure in Connecticut (if applicable).

Responsabilidades

• Apply basic medical knowledge to common NICU diagnoses under supervision.
• Perform diagnostic evaluation and consultations with guidance.
• Gather patient information using standardized templates.
• Organize and prioritize patient care and develop management plans.
• Attend deliveries with preceptor until independent resuscitation is established.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, and the care team.
• Document patient information accurately in the medical record.
