Job summary

Qualifications

• Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner: Graduate degree in nursing accredited by one of the national certifying bodies.
• Physician Assistant: Graduation from an accredited PA program; CT licensure may be required.
• NRP certification required within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations of term and premature newborns in NICU Level IV with appropriate guidance.
• Present assessments to supervising physician and help develop care plans.
• Assist in deliveries and neonatal resuscitation as independence develops.
• Document interactions and manage patient care plans with the health care team.
