Job summary

Denver Health Medical Center seeks a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or Neonatal Physician Assistant for our Level IIIB NICU. Under supervision of a Neonatologist, you will lead high-risk deliveries, admissions, daily rounds, and NICU procedures. Collaboration with residents and students is encouraged.

The role supports family communication, discharge planning, and participation in quality improvement and teaching initiatives at a safety-net teaching hospital.

Qualifications

• NICU-specific training as an NP or PA is required.
• NP/PA credentials with ability to work under supervision of a Neonatologist.
• Experience leading high-risk deliveries and discharge planning helpful.

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care for infants in a 25-bed level IIIB NICU.
• Lead high-risk deliveries and admissions, daily rounds and procedures.
• Communicate with families and coordinate discharge planning.
• Collaborate with residents and students in a teaching hospital setting.
• Utilize EPIC EHR for orders, documentation, and communication.
