Job summary

SHELBY COUNTY HEALTH CARE CORPORATION is seeking a Neonatal Milk Technician in Memphis to manage human milk and specialized formulas in coordination with the care team. You will review EMR orders, prepare milk and formulas, label accurately, and deliver to the correct location with attention to safety and sanitation.

The role includes maintaining inventory, monitoring temperatures, and keeping the lab clean and compliant with all policies and health regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Dietetic Technician program or equivalent preferred.
• Certification as a Dietetic Technician preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receives, reviews and verifies orders via EMR for human milk and formulas.
• Calculates additives and mixes ingredients using aseptic technique.
• Labels milk per policy using scanning system.
• Delivers prepared milk/formula to designated location accurately and timely.
