AdventHealth in Castle Rock, Colorado is seeking a part-time Night shift Registered Nurse to join our clinical team. Eligible clinicians can earn salary increases through our Clinical Ladder program based on experience, development and advancement criteria.

The role emphasizes comprehensive patient assessment, individualized care planning, medication administration, family education, and teamwork. RN license and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• BLS certification required.
• Nursing degree and preferred higher credentials.
• Experience in acute hospital setting preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assess physiological, psychological, developmental and sociocultural factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and protocols.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient information and outcomes accurately in the record.
• Evaluate care plans and adjust to improve outcomes.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication.
• Supervise and delegate care to healthcare team members.
• Engage in professional development and performance improvement activities.
• Respond promptly to code situations and stabilize patients.
