CHRISTUS Health seeks an experienced perinatal RN to provide routine and complex care in a perinatal setting. You will apply the nursing process, assess needs, plan, intervene and evaluate outcomes for assigned patients, and delegate as appropriate.

The role requires a BSN preferred, BLS, and an RN license (state or compact). Perinatal residency or recent practice in perinatal care is preferred, with ongoing competency validations and certifications within stated timeframes.

Qualificações

• BSN preferred.
• 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred.
• RN license in state of employment or a compact state.
• BLS required.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process for assigned patients.
• Assess, diagnose, plan, intervene and evaluate patient care.
• Address complex psychosocial needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments; monitor effects and side effects.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess learning needs and educate patients, families and caregivers.
