Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in the GICU, applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within established standards.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, document care, lead patient education, coordinate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams, monitor patients closely, respond to emergencies, and support safety and quality initiatives across the unit.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved nursing school/program (Required).
• RN licensed in TN (Upon Hire Required).
• BCLS - Basic Life Support (Upon Hire Required).
• Experience in inpatient care.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care according to medical regimen and unit standards.
• Performs patient assessments and prioritizes care.
• Documents care and ongoing patient status.
• Educates patients and families about conditions and treatments.
• Coordinates referrals and collaborates with physicians and staff.
• Maintains patient safety and infection control practices.
