Job summary

OHSU Doernbecher Children’s Hospital in Portland, OR seeks a Clinical Faculty APP (Neonatal) to deliver advanced neonatal care within a Level III/IV NICU. The role involves shift-based scheduling, 13-hour shifts, 24/7 coverage, and collaboration with NICU physicians and staff under the CBA and institutional policies.

The successful candidate will hold a Master’s in Nursing (APRN) or PA degree, be board-certified in neonatal practice, and participate in weekends, holidays, and high acuity care

Qualifications

• Board-certified Neonatal NP (NNP) or PA with appropriate training and licensure.
• Experience in neonatal, critical care, inpatient, or pediatric settings preferred.
• Ability to provide high-acuity, multidisciplinary neonatal care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced neonatal care in NICU per defined scope.
• Participate in weekend, night, and holiday shifts and coverage.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and neonatal resuscitations.
• Engage in rounds, care coordination, and quality improvement.
