Job summary

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree or equivalent provision, required.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) in the state of Ohio, required.
• Maintains national certification as APRN or PA for the position, required.
• Delivery room experience required.
• 2 years Neonatal APP experience preferred but will consider less on a case-by-case basis.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and populations; develop, implement and evaluate plans of care.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures according to established guidelines and standards.
• Utilize evidence-based practice; serve as a clinical expert for policies, procedures, documentation, and skills.
• Assist in the education, training and development of new and existing staff members.
• Engage in data collection or auditing, participate in Quality Improvement.
• Contribute to the division and hospital strategic goals and plan.
