The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Nursing, 4+ years of nursing experience with demonstrated educational planning and evaluation skills, and a drive to obtain a Master’s degree within five years.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required with a commitment to obtain a Master’s degree in 5 years.
• At least four (4) years' experience in Nursing with two (2) years concurrent experience applying educational concepts, including program planning and evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Staff Development/ Competency Assessment: Develops and conducts learning needs assessment to staff annually.
• Planning: Develops outcomes and content reflecting expected learning outcomes and evidence.
• Implementation: Implements a learning plan/ competency in a coordinated and timely manner.
• Facilitation: Facilitates education of learners to meet professional development needs.
• Evaluation: Uses valid methods to measure processes and outcomes and revises activities accordingly.
