  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing required.
  • Commitment to obtain a Master’s degree within 5 years.
  • At least four years nursing experience with two years applying educational concepts.
  • Knowledge of adult educational theories for assessing and planning learning.
  • Analytic skills to develop and evaluate educational programs.
  • Current Maryland RN license.
  • CPR instructor certification preferred.
  • Healthcare Provider CPR required every 2 years.
  • Certification as a professional development specialist within 4 years of hire.
