Mass General Brigham is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Special Care Nursery at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, MA. The role centers on delivering highly professional and technical nursing care to vulnerable patients in a critical care setting.

This part-time, rotating position requires a nursing diploma (BSN preferred), and at least 2 years of critical care experience. BLS and ACLS certifications and MA RN license are required.

Responsabilidades

• Render highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Oversee other assigned team members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Support the care of unstable and critically ill patients throughout the Hospital.
• Perform patient care and technical duties in the outpatient Device Clinic.
• Educate patients and families regarding device function and follow-up routine.
• Ensure timely documentation and billing.
• Assist with rapid responses and Code Blue on inpatient units.
• Coordinate and collaborate with appropriate resources and multidisciplinary team members.
• Engage patient/family as partners in caring.
