Accounting Search is seeking a NICU Clinical Pharmacist Specialist in Houston, TX to deliver expert medication management for critically ill neonates. You will collaborate with the healthcare team, mentor students, and participate in clinical research while ensuring safety and adherence to policies.

The role requires a PharmD with a PGY2 in Pediatrics or Critical Care with NICU experience, Texas licensure, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• PharmD required with PGY2 in Pediatrics or Critical Care and NICU experience.
• Licensed to practice pharmacy in Texas.
• Strong NICU clinical pharmacy experience.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with hospital computer systems.

Responsabilidades

• Provide direct clinical pharmacy services to neonates in the NICU.
• Develop and maintain communication systems to ensure effective information flow among staff.
• Mentor and educate pharmacy students, staff, and residents.
• Identify opportunities for cost containment and improvements in clinical pharmacy services.
• Plan and manage resources to ensure continuity of care across settings.
• Participate in clinical research to evaluate drug and regimen outcomes.
• Develop and implement utilization reviews and medication use assessments.
• Oversee the clinical students and residency program.
• Ensure safety and adherence to policies and procedures.
