Job summary

University Hospitals is seeking an experienced Neonatal Advanced Practice Provider to join our academic health system in Ohio. The role covers a fast-paced NICU environment with flexible shifts from 10 to 24 hours, including day, night, weekend, and holiday coverage.

The APP will assess, implement, and evaluate plan of care for medically complex neonates from birth to age two, participating in deliveries where needed.

Qualifications

• MSN with advanced practice certification in neonatology (required).
• Master's Degree from an accredited PA program (required).
• Licensed and board-certified within Ohio for NP/PA roles.

Responsibilities

• Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients and co-workers.
• Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment.
• Performs patient assessment and assigns diagnosis based on data and current research.
• Establishes plan of care and implements interventions per care paths and standards.
• Collaborates with other health care providers in an interdisciplinary team.
• Provides education through role modeling and in-services to meet learning needs.
• Performs other duties as assigned and complies with policies.
