Job summary

The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (NP/PA) for the Neonatal ICU in a contingent/IRP capacity. The APP collaborates with physicians and clinicians to deliver comprehensive neonatal care, including acute and preventive services, in a high-volume tertiary setting.

Applicants should hold current APRN credentials in Ohio, possess MSN/NP training with national certification eligibility, and have minimal but preferred neonatal APP experience.

Qualifications

• Current certificate of authority to practice as an APRN in Ohio.
• MSN degree and Nurse Practitioner preparation qualifying for national certification.
• 0 years of relevant experience required but 0-2 years neonatal APP experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services to neonatal patients in collaboration with a licensed physician.
• Participate in education, counseling, and health promotion for families.
• Assist with high-acuity ICU care and delivery room/OR resuscitation when needed.
