Job summary

UHA University Health Associates is seeking an Advanced Practice Professional (APP) to provide high-quality neonatal care as part of the interdisciplinary team. The APP will assess, diagnose, treat, and manage neonatal patients, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and staff within WV licensure and hospital guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a CCNE-accredited nursing program with a Master’s Degree in Nursing or MEC approved equivalent.
• National Certification by one of the recognized APRN Certification Centers.
• Licensure or eligibility for licensure as an APRN in West Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Manages comprehensive and individualized care for neonatal patients and families.
• Performs daily rounds, pre-procedure evaluations, and coordinated assessments.
• Collaborates with neonatal faculty to order tests and interpret results per SOPs.
